Pinhole (EP4)
The Pinhole-Challenge (EP4) runs for another week. There have been very few contributions so far, and chances to win a heart are better than ever!
I have been photographing a lot with my home-made pinhole cap last week and will certainly continue to experiment with it. Today's blip was shot at home, in front of a black wall our daughter uses as a blackboard. I have also begun to use the pinhole technique out on the streets. First results are promissing (see extra).
Pinhole photography makes you (or requires you to) took at your world differently. A flower will look different through a pinhole, people look different through a pinhole.
The blurry results of my home-made cap are teaching me to not so much look for subjects, but for patterns of light and color. Shadows and bright light work great in pinhole photography. Lines leading away from the camera (like in the main blip) or narrow streets are also interesting subjects (see extra).
You can publish your contribution on any day until Saturday, April 15th. Don't forget to tag it with EP4.
The next challenge will be published on April 15th (suggestions are always welcome). Hearts for this challenge will be awarded on Monday, April 17th.
