Fly fennel
The "summer" has at last arrived as far as we are concerned. After the heavy dew had dried the men rushed to the cornfields and leapt into action to harvest the grain.
The fennel by the backdoor is now attracting many insects and flies onto its islands of flowers and every time we pass a black cloud ascends into the air.
This evening we met up with Dups (a blipper from New Zealand of Fuzzy's Journal fame) and her husband at supper with friends nearby. They were originally farming in this area before emigrating. We managed to have a good Blip chat!
