The Gas man commeth

Ah. What a day.

We changed gas supplier to save money on our fuel bills, so a lovely man came to change our gas meter. The newer digital meters don't work very well apparently and are being changed for the older design we know and love.

Unfortunately, When he tested the supply, we appeared to have a leak. So he capped our new meter, told us to contact our maintenance contractor and said farewell.

Our lovely gasman came and found a leak in our built-in gas hob, thereby condemning it. He capped the pipe to the hob and wished us good day.

A trip to the shops then. and lighter in pocket,we should be cooking with gas tomorrow night.

Elsewhere, our local filling station closes today to be re-vamped and reopen with different fuel in the tanks.
