Lay in

The dogs usually get up about 6am for a wee. We go back to bed with a cuppa wide awake while they hog the bed and go back to sleep for an hour.

I think pretending to need to go out is a plot as now they have room for their own beds they are discouraged from sleeping with us all night like they did in the caravan.

They are funny creatures of habit.
