I Officially Declare...

the Gin Palace Open for business pleasure :-))

David was up with the larks and in the pool giving it its weekly spruce.   The hoover doesn't appear to be working (unless he's doing something daft) so a wee call to the installer is in order.  I meanwhile had a lie in then when I was getting ready, D sneaked a wee hour in at the golf range.  Now he's retired he can play in the medals.  Second one tomorrow so some practice was in order.  I suspect I'm going to become a bit of a golf widow.

After lunch (which we had at home today!  :-))  it was time to dig out the soft furnishings and knik knaks for the Gin Palace. 

It really needs a proper clean but it was too lovely a day for that so it was cleared of spidey webs (not that many surprisingly) and had the windowsills and surfaces wiped.   That will do for now.  Plenty rainy days forecast (snow even for Easter weekend!!) where we can shut ourselves in and give it a proper spring clean.

I got myself comfy on the couch and D went indoors to fetch the G&Ts  and some nibbles and I got, what has become, my annual blip of the first Gins of the season, enjoyed in the Gin Palace :-)
