10 Devonshire Place

After a busy day working through yet more items on my 'to do' list, our local pub beckoned.
Today I have: 1) replaced some rotten window beading at the front of the house, 2) finished grouting some tiles in the utility area, 3) fitted the top pelmet trim to the utility cupboards and 4) replaced the battery in the burglar alarm so it doesn't misbehave in a power cut.

I think that I have earned my pint of beer for that little lot.
This place also happens to be my favourite pub in Harrogate. It has no music or dreaded slot machines in there and it is pretty basic inside, although cosy. There is an original stained glass canopy over the bar which was refurbished a few years ago and is worth a look. They serve local cask ales and craft keg beers so it is a great place for the discerning drinker.
