A dry sunny day spent mostly spreading fertilizer on the sown barley. Had 10 tons spread by this afternoon then had to stop to start feeding cattle again.
Took Mrs F , 2 kids and 3 dogs to the beach at Gullane tonight for a run along the sand. Collie and lab were fine, but had to watch the terrier like a hawk as he was very good a running off to chase other people/ dogs/ seagulls/ seaweed/ distant rocks etc. Basically anything that took his fancy. This also caused temporary loss of hearing on his part .
