Work Starting

Today was the first day of actual work on the site. This involved a LOT of digging. In the heat and sun. Was absolutely knackered by the end of they day. Some of the local guys came out to help, really great to be able to work alongside them. Mrs B is here in this picture getting stuck in.

Had dinner with a man who worked for the charity. He was full of some of the most fascinating but heartbreaking life stories I have ever heard. Could have listened to him all day. He has multiple doctorates, incredibly intelligent but lives in the desert without electricity helping with aid organisations. He lost his entire family in Rwanda but just a couple of weeks ago found a son that was alive and spoke to him for the first time in 17 years.
