Worn Out

First day back at school for Arwen - she's now Year 6! Yikes! Where has the time gone? And so it's back to the drudgery of uniforms, packed lunches and all that. Oh roll on half term.

I'm not usually this tired on the first day back at school but last night was somewhat eventful. We ended up taking Arwen to A&E as she thought she had the bud of a cotton bud stuck in her ear!!! Thankfully, it was a quiet night and after being seen by two doctors she was declared cotton bud bud free. Yes, there was nothing in her ear - what a relief! We came to the conclusion that it must have fallen off the cotton bud as she removed it from her ear and on seeing the budless cotton bud panic-ed. And yes, she has been told countless times never to put anything smaller than her elbow in her ear!! Anyway, by the time we got out of there, got home and got to bed it was gone 11.30pm!!

Still, she had a great first day which I am pleased about & has already organised her first sleepover of the new year!! :)
