You know those moments when you have to pinch yourself because it is just too beautiful. We've had a few of them already here on our family holiday in Anglesey.
Ok so the day started with an early call, a 5am wake up, an early check in for a first flight, the annoyance of realising I'd left my phone at home for the week and a confusing wander around Manchester airport when we'd been up for hours but it was really not even time for breakfast, but even still it was obvious the day was going to be a cracker.
Once on the westward bound train with the winter layers peeled off, the sun and the blue skies were welcoming us to our home for the week, in Doffy's territory!
The effects of just over four hours sleep, and a fairly lengthy journey took its toll on me, and my eldest mid afternoon, but after some time on his own and a wee nap on the grass in the garden for me, we were up, out and on the beach in the glorious sunshine. Later my eldest and I had a wee cycle through beautiful lanes with the birds chattering in the hedgerow and the smell of the coconut gorse before later still a BBQ and some celebratory fizz with my sister in law before finally, bed.
