Stuck in the mud

This dam has gone dry. Some small goats have tried to go in for a drink and became stuck. We cut some branches to walk on to get out to them so we could pull them out. The mud was just too thick. The goats had to be humanely destroyed. There was a bit of rain about this afternoon. Fingers crossed we get some of it.
