The Ten Seasons

For what must be the fifth or sixth year running, an appallingly wet summer has given way to a warm and enjoyable September. Is it time to completely rethink the system of seasons? The current four are hopelessly out of date and inaccurate, and would be better replaced by some or all of the following:

Colditime
Rainuary
Floweryness
Sunner
Rainuary II - The Clouds' Revenge
Lesser Sunner
Windium
Rainuary III - The Pissing
Snowmannery
Depressington

I will submit my proposal to the Met Office forthwith, and eagerly await their response.
