Minister's Yett....

Preaching today at Broughton and Skirling.

Large numbers of rural Scottish churches had a Minister's Yett, or Gate.

This was a gate between the manse and the kirkyard, which meant that the incumbent could have an extra five minutes in his bed in the morning.
