Farewell to Dublin

Taken from the 6th floor of our hotel, looking north.  The monument in the foreground is to Charles Stewart Parnell (1846-1891)--an Irish nationalist who is one of the great figures in the country's history.  An hour later we left for the airport for our Aer Lingus flight to Bradley International near Hartford CT; we went through customs before boarding --a great boon, as well as the fact that on arrival we're less than an hour from Northampton.  The flight began only last September--we hope it lasts :)
