Thawai Khun

Thoubal river running through Thawai are now the upstream of the Mapithel Dam(Maphou Dam or Thoubal Multipurpose Project in Imphal East District) submerging majority of the flora and founa and the civilizations along the river banks.

The new way of life brings fishing with nets amongst the local populace.  Bought some fish from them.  However, till now, they are not adapt with the craft as the fish taste slightly bitter - a fallout resulting from their not-yet-skillful art of removing the fish from the nets.
