to Boast

I have to say that my attempts to grow cauliflowers this year have met with great success.  Initially I thought they were going to be a wash out because last autumn they were attacked by everything. However quite a few of them have pulled through and this is the one that is destined for a meal tonight.  

This particular variety of autumn sown cauli appeals to me because there is a scarcity of fresh veg just at this time of year.
