Friday: Pear Blossom

Pear tree is full of blossom and has grown far too straggly, I'll eventually get round to pruning the centre and lower the crown.

When I got home MrD had cut the Silver Birch as we had planned, it was over 20 feet tall but was leaning over the wall and was only an inch away. This was the silver birch last year - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2171707420458354487 - it won't go to waste though. MrD has kept the trunk for wood turning and for logs. I cut down all the large branches as bean poles.
