Tillicoultry Golf and Garden

A brief interlude of sunshine this afternoon so I headed out to one of my spiritual homes, the Golf and Garden Centre on the A91 just outside Tilly.  It is an independent garden centre run by a lovely Dutch couple and has a lovely range of Roddies and Azalias and other things that grow well in the locality (as opposed to the big chains who will sell you anything whether or not it will last to the end of the week in our climate).  I saw a couple of butterflies enjoying the spring flowers and a very cheeky sparrow was flitting in and out of the plant pots.  The "golf" bit of the centre is a driving range and you can get a bucket of 50 balls to practice on.  At the end of the day they go out with a little tractor and collect thousands of them  up again.  One of my favourite spots.
