This flowering shrub was making a welcoming display at our friends' front door. Maggie and Carl live in a lovely converted barn and Jack and had a great afternoon catching up whilst eating a delicious lunch.

AND Google Maps suggested an alternative route to the ghastly roundabouts leading off the A1 at Newark, getting us to M and C down gentle country roads. Why didnt it suggest that about 5 years ago?
