Hancock By Hitchcock

Cheddars and I went blipping in Derby at the Format 2017 International Photography Festival. Brilliant day. It was the perfect mix – a self-directed walking tour (Format map in hand) round a town we didn't know, with stop-offs at different exhibitions of excellent images.

The venues were eclectic, with great atmosphere; run down old (former) schools and dance halls, small museums, quirky art centers. One was shut when it was meant to be open. It felt like we were breaking into several of the locations in order to view the shows.

We really want to go back before it finishes, but we can’t. Cheddars will be in Borneo with C on their honeymoon. I shall be, er, otherwise occupied.
