High and Dry

Today we packed up the tent (which was a lot easier to take down than it was to put up!) and left Te anau, for Wanaka.
Along the way we went to Queenstown for a drive around, and then on to Arrowtown, where we had lunch.

This is the world-famous tree in the lake at Wanaka.
The lake's quite low at the moment, so the tree isn't in the water. I was able to walk right up to it and touch it!

We're heading home tomorrow.
