The Leaning Tower

We ended our brief trip to Tuscany with a visit to Pisa this afternoon, giving us our first ever real life view of the leaning tower, It really is astonishing, and photographs just don't seem to do justice to the extent to which it leans as seen by the naked eye. What's more, the tilt was in fact reduced around the turn of the century, so it must have previously looked even more remarkable.
