Corner, corner everywhere

My mother was a prolific embroiderer and this is one of her hardanger runners I have acquired - been gifted.  Every bit of this is a corner.  

Sadly, my mother won't be 
making any more corners,
I am sure she is watching
from the sky corners
making sure that I am
taking care of the corners
that she has created
and of the many corners
that life throws at us.
