Nottingham

Getting down here was a bit more of a faff than I'd anticipated. The car battery had unexpectedly completely died, so ended up setting off 4 hours later than I had originally planned! Finally arrived.
I went to Nottingham (Forest Rec) Parkrun before Andrew woke up, very hilly course. Felt quite special being able to put my hand up as a parkrun tourist!
After a delicious brunch from Jo's Pancake house, we explored the uni campus and Wollaton park. It was a gorgeous sunny day, so many people were about enjoying the outdoors. After a siesta (for Andrew), he showed me what a night out in Nottingham was all about!
