Red kite

There were four red kites patrolling over a scruffy field at Fochrhiw as I drove through yesterday.  The light was perfect and they were coming in close and low to pick up bits of dead sheep in the long grass (I know what they were picking up - I could see them doing it).  This is just the first shot out of my camera - I'm hoping there are even better ones to come.

I like the way she's looking directly at me in this one!
