Opening Up

The warm sunny weather has triggered waves of flower all through the garden. Plenty of candidates for a picture today, just as well as I haven't been beyond the garden today.  This is Magnolia 'Leonard Messel', just emerging.

When not watering seedlings or hanging out washing, I've been sewing doll's clothes, and stuffing a doll called Cloth Kitty. 

I made one thirty odd years ago for my daughter, and now I'm making one for her daughter.  The original survives, but looks a little the worse for wear.
