Mono Monday - All Ship Shape and Bristol Fashion

The plans were unrolled and laid out once again
The architect furrowed his brow
The builders have said they can’t do any more
And the marketing’s your job somehow
The salesman just laughed and said worry you not
This is Bristol we’re talking of now
With a dockside development shaped like a ship
And a balcony built like a prow!

Mono Monday 168 has a theme of "Corner" and of course National Poetry Writing Month continues, though you would;dn't think so to read my tripe! :-) This well known landmark apartment building on the side of the Bristol harbour is actually quite colourful, but I hope it works as well in shades of grey.

A post-hospital-visit jaunt into the centre, where they are once again vandalising St Augustine's Parade which never recovered from the loss of the grassed islands and mature plane trees in the nineties. In the M-Shed there's a display of skeletons uncovered and recovered from local and London redevelopment sites. On the Balmoral tied up alongside there's a film set in operation making something apparently about Laurel and Hardy. Always something going on in Bristol.

I've dropped in an extra, which is the "one that didn't make the cut" but which I still like.
