Minstrel in the gallery

Busy day in The Capital today.
Starting with a visit to The very wonderful building that is The Scottish Parliament, the lunch at Henderson's vegan restaurant, the a trip to the Portrait Gallery. No minstrels to be seen, but plenty of wonderful paintings.
This is the view on the main entrance hall from the first floor.
We then had coffee and cake, all dairy free, in Deacon Brodie's cafe.
We finished with a tour of Mary King Close. I have been wishing to go there for years.

Home now. And tired.
