Arriving at Sydney Airport

After nearly 24 hours of travelling we have finally arrived in Sydney.  Our arrival time was 5am but after all the time zones we've passed through, it didn't  mean much.
Fortunately Violet slept for quite a considerable length of time on both legs of the journey (brief stop off was Dubai), and behaved very well indeed when awake.  We've now popped in to say hi to the family and checked into our hotel where the staff are lovely.
Just now we're endeavouring to stay awake for an early dinner so we can get into a routine as soon as possible.
