Time to reflect
Our holiday was great 1433.5km traveled in 5 days, visited places we had not been to in Donkey years and saw some beautiful scenery. The man from China I met yesterday would have made a great photography companion for the both of us. New Zealand is a very expensive place to travel in, accommodation is grossly over priced and people are practically held to ransom because we have little to no choice but to pay the extortionate rates. The less I see of Queenstown the better! We have a beautiful country and the little tiny out of the way places are the best places to go to. This morning we caught up with members of the Wanaka Digital Imaging Group and Blippers, Mumma Hen, A Cycling Granny and Tussock Tales. Some fun and serious photography talk and a hot chocolate and and mousetrap (toasted Sandwich type thing)at a lovely little Cafe. In Wanaka we could have spent many hours looking over the Jetty and watching the Huge and I mean Huge Rainbow Trout and Eels. Marie did a great job of Planning our adventure.
