Delicious!

Well, it has become quite "in" to be eating ants, so I am wondering if this little fella fits the theme for TT.
I was sitting on a red gum bench in the bush on the fringe of Shepparton. There had been a controlled burn, leaving the ground black, but the gum trees intact.  Not even a bird to be heard.  I looked down beside me and saw this ant meandering across the seat and decided to try to capture it.  I have no idea what sort of ant it is, but I do know Australia has hundreds of species. He is certainly different to our common ants, but then I have never looked this closely. Thanks Trisharooni for making me think creatively about this tiny creature.
