After a long trip to the dog park, I visited the new installation in town - a crowd, a host, of golden (Lego) daffodils!


They were to be my blip ..  but on our dog walk this afternoon I saw the local kingfisher, so here he is.


In fact I saw a pair of them - which is good news and bad news! Good news because it's fabulous to have them breeding locally and (selfishly!) bad news for me, because as they're Schedule 1 birds, it's illegal for me to photograph them in and around their nesting site!
