Guildford High Street
After a family visit to the dentist this morning for check ups (not Adam, he went last week as he is not here at the moment) Gavin and I went to a recommended garden centre nearby to look at plants for the new house. The seller/developer has landscaped the garden after the building was completed but they have done a very boring job with the same tiny shrub repeated throughout the garden - as one would expect from a developer. I have a clear vision of what kind of plants I would like - not that I know their names, as everyone knows I am useless at identifying plants - and this garden centre has such a wide choice and at such good prices - and best of all, they have a design and landscape department with a staff member who can come out and advise, design and plant for us. It won't take much planting but more a case of filling the gaps and moving some plants around to get it looking more exciting.
Then we dashed off to Guildford as we had to go to a shop there to see the quality of something we wanted to buy - I have not been to Guildford for ages, but it was looking as charming and picturesque as always. (This image is for JazzyB!)
Now back home to pour over Paris accommodation websites online to help Luke find somewhere to live!
