Sloe growing ...

The blackthorn blossom will turn into sloe berries in due course, which is my 'food' connection with this week's Tiny Tuesday challenge (thanks to Trisharooni for hosting).

I've added the names of the other flowers, most if not all of which provide food for bees. Saw all these on our walk in local lanes today, and even with this patchwork, many more are missing ... but I was pleased to include as the tiniest flower, one of my favourites: tiny blue speedwell.
