There is a bridge nearby.

On a blustery day we had a walk along the Lade Braes. This big tree had fallen some time ago, and it appears many have ventured upon it. The trunk has been neatly sawn, enabling the footpath to be used.
In summer it's a very shaded walk, today it was nice and bright.
