Glorious

Another glorious day weather wise, so it was another opportunity to get out on my bike.  I was planning on doing a long route today, but little did I know it was quite windy out.  No matter which way I turned I was riding into a headwind, no chance of PBs, but enjoyable none the less.

Time to settle down then to watch the Cardiff Devils in the Playoff Final, a chance to win a Grand Slam.  It was a hell of a game, Cardiff were 3-1 up and then Sheffield came roaring back to go 5-4 up, before we equalised.  The game went into overtime, and then double overtime.  Bodies on both sides were suffering, pain relieving injections were being used, and the energy drinks were flowing.  Sadly though Sheffield got the sudden death goal and won.  But we’ve had a great season!  We’re back!  And hopefully next season we can set the standard again.

Then it was time to settle down and watch the final day of the Masters golf.  A titanic battle between Sergio Garcia and Justin Rose, it went to a playoff and Sergio won.  Amazing stuff, but a late night.  LOL!
