Icy Pool!

Spring is definitely in the air, but it won't be summer for a while yet.
5 km from home, over fields and along forest tracks there is a sand quarry which provided us with an aim point today and where this photo is taken.  Another 10 km walk for me, perhaps 15 km for Rusty with all the side-tracking and back and forth.
It was Rusty's last day with us. Claire is being picked up from our local airport as I write. She'll stay over, then there will be a shortish walk tomorrow and then it's home to Umeå for Claire and Rusty.
