A720 Under the City Bypass (Loanheid)
And so after a week of loafing and high jinks, it was off back to work. Actually as damage limitation goes, I did pretty well.
I'd spent the afternoon a week and a half ago organising stuff so I'd be out and about on my first day back. A bit of a gamble when your long range forecast isn't that reliable, but then fortune does favour the fortunate.
And so it turned out.
Well, once I'd trundled into the office as I couldn't log on; obv due to my password expiring, so I tried a reset but that failed and I was told the trust relationship between my laptop and the server was over.
So I went off having left word with an engineer to contact me the next day. To Goldenacre in the sun and it seemed all set for a decent day. So halfway down E Trinity Road a spoke popped. I'm close enough to the bike shop to nip (slowly) across there to get it fixed (and some new brake pads) and then resumed my duties,
In order to cheer myself up after a great return to work, I sped through the morning and left enough time for lunch and a meander up to Straiton for a wee blip of Cigsy baby.
White paint (2017 even though it's not dated) on luverly concrete.
The ride home; downhill; at speed; was fantastic.
