Laura's Daffodils Appear Again

They bloomed just a few days ago, outside our back door. Our niece Laura planted them as bulbs  in the fall of 2015; they first appeared last spring.  So far this year there seem to be fewer, but it's still early. In Paris the first daffodils appeared at least six weeks ago, and by the time we left on April 5th there were flowers everywhere. Here in Northampton daffodils are still virtually the only things blooming.
