Al Fresco Ice Cream

After a very lazy Sunday morning we headed over to the garden centre to get the things we need to get cracking with Operation Sort-out-the-Garden.
We had a lovely time looking at the plants, seeds, containers, chickens, trees, lawn restorer, furniture paint, trowels, compost and brooms.
In the middle of looking at all the things we went to the cafe for a tasty lunch. 
We bought all of the above apart from chickens and trees!! See extras.
I found some trees that I want though. We need to replace some of the shade and shelter that we've lost with all the neighbours chopping everything down.
When we got home we headed straight out into the garden to get started.

Well we needed some energy to start work
After we'd eaten it and sat in the sun for a bit Mr K power washed the patios and paths while I cleared a trellis which was overgrown with ivy. Archie was particularly annoying - chasing the power washer, eating all the ivy that I dropped down, digging holes, barking at next door's dog and generally getting on my nerves!!! I think he enjoyed it though!!
As usual, rather than getting a job finished Mr K and I ran out of steam at about 6.30pm and after he'd read Harry Potter to the Little Misses we collapsed on the sofa with Thai chicken and watched Decline and Fall
