Contrasts

Spent a lovely morning in a combination of work and practising with the new camera taking bird photos as the deck was alive with them coming to the feeder. Not sure if this one was a goldfinch or an oriole. So different to be out here in the peace and quiet before the rest of the week in the clamouring city.
We went for a wander along the ridge before we set off back to DC, and after some more work (having been reunited with proper laptops) we headed out to great dinner at Mexican restaurant (with Margheritas of course!) and then a tour of the big monuments around town. Great to see them at night (extras). 
The many quotes from previous presidents were impressive and had us all wondering about contrasts again....the tweets aren't going to look so great in stone.....!
