This morning was spent making a batch of rhubarb chutney using up more of the stuff from the garden. I made 10 jars - that should be enough for the next year!

I'm doing a ‘midweek roast’ tonight so I think rhubarb crumble may be on the menu for pudding as there is still loads left on the plant.

After lunch we went for our walk and I spotted this bee on a dandelion - had to take loads of shots to try and get a clear one as the wind was blowing the plant about. Also spotted a newly opened wild arum in the woods with a beautiful purple spadix (see extra).
