Lepidopterists
Need more imagination;
“Small Blue Butterfly”...!
Ok, as a haiku perhaps it works but I'll admit lepidopterists don't call it a small blue, but rather Cupido Minimus. But I've a nagging headache and NaPoWriMo2017 isn't helping it at all! This is the UK's smallest butterfly and is a priority species in the national biodiversity action plan. Numbers are dwindling, but perhaps this year they'll do well, as this 3/4" fellow's not due to be about for another month. He spent some time sucking moisture out of this tiny fleck of earth in our back garden this morning.
