Past Glories

I am willing to bet that this skinny building at the Flinders St end of Elizabeth St wasn't always a grubby worn adult book exchange.
That there was once a time when the building's name of " Elizabeth Chambers" inspired pride in the residents and confidence in the clients.
Now it looks like a spare backdrop for an alternate reality film like the Harry Potter series. Minus the "R" rating signs of course.
