Little calf lost...

...not really, the mother was just out of shot.

These are different cows to the ones I normally photograph and this calf is only a day or so old. The calves in this field often jump up and down and frolick wildly amongst themselves - just not when I have a camera in my hand, of course.

Here the calf is giving it's nose a good clean, with it's mother close by for protection.
