Rain, Rain, Rain....

The Taylor River is in a Floodway. This was designed years ago to keep the actual river out of town. It works well and the floodway is fast filling today. Here water rushes in from a drain under the road adding to the actual river water. Storm-wise, New Zealand is under siege with the country awaiting the storm effects of Cyclone Cook.
Family members from Wellington and Nelson have arrived this evening.... all here for the long weekend.
