New/Old wheel trims

There's 2 drivers in this house.One claims no responsibility to driving along the kerb.That means I am the culprit. What do I do ? 
A) park in the middle of the road or B) give up driving and stick to the bike ?

It's been a lovely sunny day in WB but freezing and very windy.I did though manage to clean the outside windows without getting blown off the ladder.
I am warmer now having just downed a bowl of cauliflower soup.Only about 23 portions left.Groan :(
