Rhododendrons worldwide.
Some, like Rhododendrum ponticum, are very invasive and very hard to get rid of once established.
Other like this miniature in our garden are a great delight.
How do you tell the difference between a Rhododendron and an Azalea?
Well the easiest way is to count the stamens.
In general Rhododendrons will have ten as in the photo. Azaleas will have five.
