Song of the Reeds

The goldeneyes are now frequently by our shore, likely affected by us installing a nest box meant for them close to the shoreline. I was first unhappy about the reeds being in focus in the shot instead of the male goldeneye, but then liked the end result a lot.

Went today to the city of Salo to see together with my wife and mother a very impressive photo exhibition "A mythical journey" by Heikki Willamo. The exhibition uses Icelandic horses, bisons and highland cattle to represent their ancestors going back some 20,000 years. The short video linked above shows some examples of the photos.
