The forecast was for a grey day, but Hebridean islands have their own ideas and, after an iffy morning [Extra] cycling across Vatersay and back, the weather just got better. Lunch was at the excellent airport café - beside the beach runway [Extras]. Once we'd almost got round the island I left my bike and climbed Heabhal. At 384m, it's the highest point in Barra and gave me this good view of Castlebay and Vatersay.
